NEW BOX LID ART!

I have been considering a new box lid design over the last couple of weeks and I finally got round to doing the art work for it.

I wanted the game to have a bit more of a kid/family friendly vibe with clear, brief indications of what it’s is all about and how it’s played. With only 5 seconds or so to capture people’s attention in a retail setting it’s important to come up with an eye-catching image. Hopefully this achieves that goal!

IT’S A DRAW is now on display and available to buy at Nelson’s prestigious Suter Art Gallery. It is a wonderful venue and, it seems to me, an ideal setting for promoting a game about drawing and creativity.

IT'S A DRAW HITS THE SHELVES!

It’s a Draw is now available to purchase at Crackerjack’s Toy store in Nelson for $40. Ever since I came up with the idea of this game my aim has been to get it in to Nelson’s iconic toy shop so I’m super excited about this. IT’S A DRAW will be promoted on Crackerjack’s website and social media sites from Wednesday.

I am very grateful to the team at Crackerjacks for being willing to stock and promote my game. IT’S A DRAW has been something I have been working on for several years and has finally got to a point where it is “retail worthy”.

The name IT’S A DRAW is a triple play on words! Firstly it refers to the fact that the game is about drawing. Secondly it is a collaborative game where everyone wins i.e. it’s a DRAW. Thirdly the box itself is like a little DRAW(er).
